In order to access our ftp site, you will need to use ftp software, not your web browser. Most of these programs are very inexpensive. Below is an example list of programs. You can find these and others at download.com or versiontracker.com.
To upload your files:
- Contact your salesperson or project manager for a login to our FTP server.
- Compress your files before uploading them. We can open zip or stuffit file formats.
- Open your FTP client, point it to ftp.horizonprinting.net and upload your files using the log-in information you were provided.
Important! We would also like to remind you that we must have a mock-up of the files you have uploaded or we will not know what you are expecting. You can courier, mail, or email a low resolution pdf file to your account representative which they can print out and put with your order when it is submitted into prepress.
Remember to contact your account representative to let them know that you have uploaded your file. We do not have an automatic notification system that a new file is on our server. Please include that name(s) of the files you have uploaded. You will also have capabilities of arranging your files into directories or even deleting unwanted files. Remember, this is your personal directory!
